Hello,

It is time for our annual Physics Graduate Studies Open House, which will take place on Thursday March 24th and Friday March 25th and please find an abbreviated schedule draft below. This visit is an important recruiting tool and we expect 36 prospective students to attend this year.
A major part of selling OSU to these prospective students comes from personal interactions with faculty and current grad students. While we do our best to arrange as much interaction time as possible, the poster session is a great time to connect about research interests therefore please sign-up to present a poster at Open House. The poster session will be held on Friday, 3/25 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with set-up beginning at 9:00 AM. Our Graduate Studies Program Assistant, Crystal Moloney will be in contact with you about signing up for the Open House Poster Session and we do need volunteers to assist with set up that morning as that overlaps with breakfast. We are aiming for one easel per research group per research area. We have a limited number of easels (about 30-35) and would like every research group to have access to one.

Thank you,
Kris Dunlap Physics Graduate Studies Office
