To all:
Campus Campaign 2016 started yesterday and continues through the end of April. Campus Campaign is the annual internal fund drive supporting funds within the university itself. (It is not the same as Bucks For Charity which is the external community charitable drive). This year's theme is "Connecting the Dots." I hope you take the opportunity to view the video included in yesterday's message from President Drake's that illustrates the impact of our gifts, when we connect the dots.
All of us are passionate about something:
* perhaps we have a friend or relative who has/had a particular disease and would like to donate to a fund that researches a cure
* perhaps you love animals - there are lots of funds in Vet Med that address helping with research or care for animals abandoned
* perhaps you would like to support a fund in an area of study in which you majored or have an interest
* perhaps you would like to support a scholarship fund
* perhaps you would like to support one of many funds in the Department of Physics!
The list of funds is nearly endless with over a thousand funds to choose from. One time donations or payroll deduction ($1 minimum per pay per fund) is available. Online donations enable you to pay with a debit or credit card. It couldn't be easier.
In the next week, you will receive your pledge envelope which will show you your current giving. If you want to keep it at the same level to the same funds - you don't have to do anything, it will continue until you say to make a change. If you want to make a change, please complete the form, sign it and turn it in to me, or mail it in the envelope provided, OR go online to make your pledge or change at https://www.osu.edu/giving/philanthropy-programs/campuscampaign click on the red Give online button and follow the prompts.
Attached is a list of funds within the Department of Physics you might want to consider including a new fund recently established to assist in funding our successful Bridge Program. Please consider making a one-time donation or an ongoing payroll deduction pledge to an area where your passions live.
Thank you,
