I always wondered if this would happen on the London  Underground trains but  I figured the train  must have safety features  that  don't allow  the  doors  to open on the wrong side.

Also, if you lean on  the doors  when the  train starts moving, it cuts the motor. This really pisses off the driver  a lot  of the time during rush hour.
