Help for Nepal earthquake victims

Dear All,

You might be already aware of the devastating 7.8R magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25, 2015. Until now, it has claimed more than 5000 lives (death toll still rising) and left many more injured and homeless. This has been described as the worst earthquake in the country in over 80 years. Relief efforts are ongoing to deal with the aftermath of this horrifying event. This includes providing earthquake survivors with food, clean water, fuel, hygiene products, and shelter. The Nepalese community needs all help possible to restore and rebuild lives that were destroyed during this tragedy.

The Nepalese Students Organization (NSO) at the Ohio State University is trying to raise funds for the earthquake victims of Nepal. We would like to sincerely request for your help in spreading word about our fundraising initiatives. We are directing our fund through CARE organization.  All funds generated will directly go to supporting the relief and recovery efforts for victims of the earthquake.

In addition we are also hosting a candlelight vigil on April 29th<https://www.facebook.com/events/837162016378098/> (Wednesday) from 5 pm at Browning Amphitheater to come together in solidarity with the Nepalese students here at the OSU, and the thousands of people affected by the massive earthquake. There will be an opportunity for attendees to donate in cash.
