Origin Pro 9.1 Yearly Subscription

Dear All,

NSL has acquired a site license for Origin Pro 9.1. This is a 1 year subscription for 100 concurrent instances of the program. i.e. the program can be installed on unlimited number of computers but only up to 100 instances can run simultaneously. The program can be installed on any computer, OSU owned or private that is connected to the OSU network, as long as the user is the current OSU student, staff or faculty. Once the Origin Pro 9.1 has been installed in the computer, the software will have to contact the licenses server, operated by the Physics department, to acquire the license key for each session of software use. Again, in order to access the license server the computer has to be in the OSU network. The license server is fully operational from this moment.

The price of the license for one computer is $87.50/year.

The cost will be adjusted to reflect the usable number of month left in the license should someone purchase the license later in the year. In order to guarantee our customer's access to the software, we will try to limit the number of licences key sold to a total of 100.

The purchase can be made via eRequest to NanoSystems Laboratory for the desired number of licenses. The eRequest should also contain the list of MAC addresses of the computers on which the software will be installed.

Once the eRequest is approved, we will issue instructions on how to access the license server.

Installation of the program can be done via installation media that can be borrowed from NSL service desk.
