[ALERT] Chemistry Dept. Reports Theft Attempt in Newman-Wolfrom Laboratory

[Physics facility information]

Members of the Chemistry Department have shared information on an incident involving attempted theft in a lab in Newman-Wolfrom Laboratory. (corner of College Rd and 18th Ave)

A police report was filed documenting this incident which occurred on Monday afternoon (Labor Day) on the fourth floor.

The person attempting the theft was described as a male of student age wearing a large backpack.

Occupants are reminded that opportunistic and bold thieves roam the campus continuously and can strike anywhere and anytime.

Occupants are encouraged to remain diligent in locking office and lab doors and securing items of value in buildings and in parking lots and garages.
