OSC to hold intro workshop for Ohio State researchers



The Ohio Supercomputer Center will present an introductory, two-hour workshop for Ohio State researchers interested in learning about OSC resources. Topics will include: high performance computing concepts, hardware and software systems, allocations and accounts, batch processing techniques and storage and file systems. Participants who bring a laptop computer will be able to connect to the supercomputers. The workshop will be held Nov. 10 from 2-4 p.m. at the Physics Research Building, Room 1080 (Smith Seminar Room).
