Folks,
As I notified you earlier, Emeritus Professor Richard Seyler passed away on January 30, 2014. I have attached the link to his obituary for anyone who wishes to read it. Donations are being accepted in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association and The Dept of Physics, Chair's Discretionary Fund per his wishes.
The obituary does not indicate who his next of kin might be. I have contacted his lawyer's office to try to determine that information in case anyone wishes to send their condolences.
Bill Palmer has prepared some information for use in the Resolution in Memoriam for the Board of Trustees and Les Blatt has graciously offered to add his insights as well. If anyone has any information to offer, please send it to me and I will include it in his file and in information I am compiling regarding the History of the Dept. of Physics.

Thank you,
