[ALERT] New Liquid Nitrogen Tank Online

[Physics facility information]

The new 6000 gallon Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tank installation is complete.

Users can once again access the liquid nitrogen supply station for filling portable dewars as needed.

Users of gaseous nitrogen received near continuous service during the installation except for two brief 1 hour periods for tank switchovers.

The new tank pressure settings were matched to the old tank parameters, however as a good practice, users of gaseous nitrogen are encouraged to check their use points and reconfirm pressure conditions remain suitable for their needs.

Some work remains at the project site to remove the temporary storage tank, the temporary fencing, and to re-install permanent fencing.

This remaining work is considered transparent to users and will be completed over the next several days as project needs and constraints dictate.
