[ALERT] Systems Restored after HHW Expansion Joint Failure

** Follow up Message to Previous Alert **

FOD has completed the emergency repairs to the ruptured expansion joint in the heating hot water (HHW) piping circuit.

All systems, including air handlers and exhaust fans, are running and normal parameters have been restored.

Temperatures in some offices at building corners are still below targets but are expected to recover in time.

The Department expresses thanks to the FOD team that responded to this serious piping component failure and related flooding.

The Department also appreciates and acknowledges the speed with which normal functions were restored.

Basement lab occupants should note that the above mentioned flooding was fully contained within the mechanical room and was principally limited to the interior of AHU-2.
