Hello Physics Faculty and Staff,
The December Monthly Payroll Certification Deadline is WEDNESDAY, 12/11/2013.
If you supervise a monthly paid employee or graduate student, then you are also an approver for monthly payroll certifications. If you have not already, please log-in to eLeave and complete your monthly payroll certifications.
The Purpose: The payroll certification process is a mechanism for supervisors to confirm that their monthly employees do still report to them and should be paid for the current month. Payroll certification does not automatically stop the pay process for those employees certified as "No." Please contact me immediately if an employee has left the department and should be removed from payroll.
1. Login to http://eleave.osu.edu
2. Click on "Monthly Payroll Certification" at the top
3. Click "Search" and it will load your list
4. For each employee, you will click "Yes" or "No"
Instructions and explanations for certification: https://assist-erp.osu.edu/assistleave/MO%20Pay%20Certification.html
Remember, this is different from the OSP eCerts using the PI Portal.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the payroll certification process, or if you need assistance with back-up approvals.
Thank you,
Mallory
