Seminar and Colloquia Guidelines

To all,

Attached is an updated table of responsibilities for managing colloquia and seminars within the Department of Physics.  Although not all of the faculty or all of the staff are directly responsible for seminars, many of you may serve as hosts or administrative support to those that are hosts and will benefit from the information provided.

This information has also been added to the Faculty and Staff Resources Page of the Physics Website under the Faculty and Staff subheading for your reference in the future.

Please take a moment to look over the document if you are a seminar administrator or host.  Thanks to Trisch Longbrake for drafting the first draft of the guidelines. Shelley met with the seminar admins recently to refine the guidelines.  Much of this information remains the same as in the past, but we have added some additional information and changed a few processes to make things run more smoothly and to enable our guests to be reimbursed more quickly.

Please note that administrative support for the Colloquium and some seminars have changed.  To reiterate from my email of August 15, the following will provide support as noted below:

Colloquia:  Martina Gutik

Nuclear: Karim Jackson (KJ)
PER/EDU: Karim Jackson (KJ)
