CCAPP Public Biard Lecture

is having its annual Biard public lecture Wednesday November 7, 2012.

   "SETI: Five Decades of Progress in the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence"

This year's lecturer is Jill Tarter, SETI Institute, Bernard M. Oliver Chair for SETI.
Many people are now familiar with Prof. Tarter's work as portrayed by Jodie Foster in the movie Contact.

The event is free and open to everyone.
The lecture material will be accessible to a general audience.
