[NEWS] PRB Office Side Temps below normal persists

The following areas on the office side of the PRB continue to see below normal temperature conditions as follows:

     3rd floor:  Offices 3034 and 3035 and all north of this location - 62 to 69 degree F (depending on location)

     Mezz floor:  Offices M2030 and M2031 and all north of this location - 62 to 69 degree F (depending on location)

     2nd floor:  Offices 2024 and 2034 and all north of this location -  61 to 69 degree F (depending on location)

    1st floor:  Offices 1040 (complete main admin suite including Chair's office) - 64 to 69 degree F (depending on location)


The cause of this temperature condition is believed to be air trapped in various parts of the system that is prohibiting the flow of heating hot water (HHW) to the local reheat boxes.

The air entered the system in large quantities during the last major outage when a large valve in the HHW system was replaced.

Technicians were on site all last week and made progress with bleeding the air out of the system, but pockets of trapped air remain.

FOD is aware of the situation and will continue to work on the problem until it is resolved.
