I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the 50th Smith lecture, delivered by 2011 Nobel laureate Adam Riess.  I saw many of you there for an excellent and accessible talk.

Uli Heinz and Terry Walker chaired the colloquium committee and invited the speaker, respectively.

Mark Reed and Phil Davids handled our facilities needs and made sure everything was in good order for the reception and talk.  John Langkals and John Heimaster made sure our A/V and tech needs were met.  Shelley Palmer coordinated everything, making sure our speaker and other guests were welcome and that the entire program went smoothly.
