Undergraduate Physics Major Wins Goldwater Scholarship

Hello Everyone

It was announced today that three Ohio State students have been named
2012 Barry M. Goldwater Scholars, and one of them is a Physics
student:

Johnny Greco, a junior majoring in Physics and Astronomy, was one of
three Ohio State students who have been named 2012 Barry M. Goldwater
Scholars.

Johnny has done research in both Physics and Astronomy.  He worked in
the High Energy Physics lab of Profs Brian Winer and Richard Hughes,
and has also worked with Prof. Paul Martini in Astronomy.  He is
currently doing research with Prof. Todd Thompson in Astronomy.

The Goldwater Scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduates in
science, math, and engineering.  A full listing of winners and the
