Monthly Payroll Certifications

We are approaching the electronic certification deadline of March 15th.  Please login to eLeave<http://eleave.osu.edu/> and click on "Monthly Payroll Certification" at the top to view your list.

If you need assistance with how to certify using the tool, a walkthrough guide is available<http://ascbsc.osu.edu/files/bsc/Certifying%20Monthly%20Payroll%20in%20eLeave.pdf> with instructions on when to certify yes and no. Please note that it is better to certify no, than to leave an employee uncertified. When in doubt, certify no and leave a comment. Marking "No" for an employee does not stop a paycheck, it just notifies the Business Services Center that there may be an issue that needs to be resolved.

The Purpose: The payroll certification process is a mechanism for supervisors to confirm that their monthly employees do still report to them and should be paid for the month. Payroll certification does not automatically stop the pay process for those employees certified as "No."

Remember, this is different from the OSP eCerts using the PI Portal.
