Hello all,

Tomorrow's colloquium speaker will be Tim Gay from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.  In addition to his work on atomic physics, Prof. Gay is well-known for his book and short video segments on the Physics of Football.  In his colloquium, he will discuss his experiences in bringing physics lessons "to the masses" through the American craze for football.  I expect to come away with a few interesting tidbits to ponder as I watch the Superbowl this weekend.

For those who listen to Ann Fisher on the radio, Prof. Gay will be interviewed by Ann on WOSU 89.7 FM tomorrow 10-11, as well.
