[NEWS] Construction Activities in PRB Basement - Soldering Odors Present

[Physics facility information]

Construction teams are working in the south hall basement area of PRB.

The work includes pipe soldering that is producing light fume odors that can be detected in the building this morning.

This is work associated with joining the existing liquid nitrogen storage dewar on the southwest corner of the PRB site to the new CBEC building.

This work will continue over the next several days until completion.
