Dear Physics Department,
Thank you all so much for your donations to the GWiP Charity drive so far!!
We are thrilled to tell you that we have *already exceeded our goal of
1,111 Newtons! *We currently have 1,717 Newtons. Rather than stop now,
we'd like to keep with the theme and* increase our goal to 2,011 Newtons*!
*There are only two days left to bring in your donations! Let's end our
2011 Charity Drive with 2011 Newtons!! *

Clothing (new and gently used, M/F, all sizes):

- Underwear (must be NEW)
- *Hats, gloves, scarves, and winter coats*
Toiletries:
- Combs, Hair brushes, Hair care products
- Conditioner
- Deodorant
- *Feminine hygiene products*
- Lotion
- Mouthwash
- Shampoo
- Shaving Cream
- Soap/shower gel
- Tissues
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- *Toilet Paper*
- *Medical supplies such as band-aids and cough drops*
Blankets and bedding:
- *Sheets*
- *Blankets*
- *Sleeping Bags*
- *Towels*

Other
- *Other: While we are requesting the items that are most needed from
the YWCA and the Open Shelter, they do accept other donations, so feel free
to bring items that are not on the list! Contact
marci.howdyshell at gmail.com if you have any questions regarding what you
can donate.*
- *Monetary donations*: if you would like to donate but do not have any
of the above items, we will have a box at the front desk in PRB 1040 for
monetary donations. The money will be used to purchase other supplies. (To
work toward our goal, $5 will count as 5 Newtons.)
