[NEWS] Growth in Research Programs - Impact to Staff Lounge

[Physics facility information]

As a result of significant and exciting growth in various research teams within the Department, a need has arisen to convert the staff lounge (room 4196) to a multiple occupant office space.

The current hope and expectation is that there are sufficient interactive spaces throughout the building to provide users of the staff lounge a suitable alternative.

Users of the staff lounge who may have a different view of the planned alternative are encouraged to work through PSAC where other options can be explored.

The Department recognizes and appreciates the ongoing cooperation of all occupants to help manage growth and specifically thanks users of the staff lounge for their support of this strategically necessary change.
