[CRITICAL] Belt Slippage and Unplanned Outage on Air Handler 1 Today - Lab Side South End

Air Handler 1 which serves the lab-side south end has had diminishing static pressure and air flow performance beginning around 3:30 pm on Saturday.

FOD has diagnosed this as belt slippage which is worsening on one or both of the main supply fan drives.

FOD is currently gathering parts and a repair crew for belt replacement as soon as the resources can be brought to site.

Labs on Air Handler 1 should act now to prepare for this outage which is expected to begin no later than early afternoon.
