[ALERT] PRB Closed Thurs-Sun July 27 to July 30

The Physics Research Building will be closed to general occupancy for four days starting Thursday July 27th thru Sunday July 30th.

The closure is related to a simultaneous shutdown of all air handlers for a complex and time-intensive FOD campaign to recoat interior surfaces of the air handler units.

Necessary accommodations will be made for research occupants and/or others with special needs to access labs during the closure.

Occupants with such needs should contact a member of the facility team to arrange an accommodation.

Messaging for this event will continue over the next several weeks and additional relevant details that emerge will be shared.

For background and context, closing the building was successfully done when the air handler units first received their service-life-extending protective coatings in a project done in late 2013.
