Dear All,

Our Colloquium speaker next week is Professor Jun Ye from JILA.

He is one of the most outstanding atomic physics experimentalists today. He has made many breakthroughs, including inventing a new way to make ultra-cold molecules, and the creation of an atomic clock with incredible accuracy –  one part in a few billion years.  He has received numerous honors and is a Member of National Academy.

He will give a colloquium in person next Tuesday.

If you would like to talk to him, please email me as soon as possible.

*** Jun cannot stay to meet with the students after the colloquium because he has a flight to catch to go to Cornell.  Please ask you students to contact me if they want to talk to Jun.  I shall organize a lunch meeting for them.
