morning network problems (resolved)

At 4am OCIO completed network maintenance. (OCIO runs ASC's network.)

There was an issue with their maintenance which resulted an about half 
of ASC's (and OSU at large's) wired network losing connectivity.  They 
have now (9am) reverted to the prior config.

Machines should be working again now, but in some cases may need a 
reboot or network address renewal.  If you need assistance contact 
action at physics.osu.edu.
