136 department members have not replied

If you are an active department member with assigned or unassigned keys and have not replied, the Department requests that you please do so now.

*******************************************************************************************************

The Department requests the assistance of all members to complete an analysis of issued keys.

Department members are asked to reply to this message with a comprehensive list of the OSU keys each person has in their possession.

Department members are asked to include hand-me-down keys, shared keys, found keys, or other keys obtained outside the normal key issuance process. (there are no penalties for full disclosure)

Department members should reply with the serialized code stamped on the key. An example of this code can be seen in the attached photo as A97A-1-2.

The Department has approximately 7000 keys assigned and considered in circulation.

Due to the volume of keys under review and the potential cost consequences of lost keys, it is important that every Department member in possession of keys participate in supporting this effort accurately and quickly.

Please take a few minutes and complete the requested task no later than Monday April 30th, 2018.

Responses should be sent to the e-mail address ASC physics-keys at osu.edu<mailto:ASC-physics-keys at osu.edu> with the phrase "Key Audit Reply - your_last_name" in the subject line.

This effort aligns with internal audit findings and Ohio State Information Security Control Standard Requirements (ISCR) and is considered mandatory.
