Below is a plea from the teacher who has taken over Gordon Aubrecht's responsibility of
finding physics judges for the State Science Day. Please consider helping out! --robert

Hello!

The Southern Ohio Section of the AAPT (American Association of Physics Teachers) and the APS (American Physics Society) offer a special physics award at the Ohio State Science Day, which this year is Saturday, May 12th at The Ohio State University. We offer prizes for grade school (5-6), Junior high (7-9) and high school (10-12). We need judges and are asking for your help.

Judging is at the Field House at OSU (you get free parking) and starts at 8:15 am. Judging takes about 2 hours. The projects are amazing and the students are so appreciative of our feedback! Every year I get so much out of meeting the students and talking with them about science!

Please let me know if you can help out. Who knows, the passion you bring to the judging might help spark a passion for pursuing a career in a STEM field, how cool is THAT!
Thank you,
Matthew Kennedy
