CCAPP has a public lecture event that may interest you.
These event is free, open to all, and is intended for general audiences.
There is a reception with nice food and coffee afterwards.

   Sunday 11 November, Science Sundays Lecture
   lecture 3-4pm, reception 4-5pm at the Ohio Union (see the poster below)
   Andrew Johnson (NASA JPL)
   "Landing and Roving on Mars"
   Johnson is a member of the Mars Rover Curiosity team, currently exploring Mars.
