So many accomplishments by an amazing and dedicated group of pediatric dental educators! So grateful to the dedicated alumni and fellows who held down the fort to care for all the children with emergencies – and there were plenty.
The alumni reception was wonderful also – located in the atrium instead of a windowless room with special guests, Dean Lloyd, Joe Crowley, ADA President and Manuel Cordero, President-elect of the Academy of General Dentistry!
Thanks to Erin for bringing the raffle prizes so there was added entertainment.

Well said! One additional item on the long and impressive list of recognitions for our program— the MacDonald went to Rosalyn Sulyanto’s student for a collaborative project with us on the effects of SDF on the microbiome.  I think it’s the equivalent of a research award grandchild.  Thanks Dr Kumar for making it all work (and making it possible for me to do research)!

Drs. McTigue and Subramanian rocked the stage Friday in front of a packed room.
Dr Heidi won 3rd in the poster competition.
Dr Amini won a huge award.
Our former Dr Bobby won another huge award.
And a team of former residents/current faculty/fellows all banded together back in Ohio to help the kids.

We have a great thing going on here in Columbus!

Our sincere thanks to Dr Orellana, Dr Shah, Dr Nieman, Dr Kerns, Dr Sandhu, Dr Skoronski, Dr Modabber, & Dr Latham, for helping out past week and weekend. There were couple of emergent cases that were admitted and had to be taken to the MAIN OR Dr Nieman & Dr Orellana took care of them.
It was such a great team work by the residents too who were on top of the consults and all consults were managed very well on time. Dr Shah in spite of the little baby at home came in and helped out with the clinic & consults too.
Special thanks to Keerston for coming in to help do the GA case on Saturday with Dr Orellana. All the staff did a wonderful job in making it all happen !!
All in all great team work !!!
