Hello Dr. Amini,

Thank you so much for allowing me to complete an externship last Thursday. I was so appreciative to have the opportunity to learn more about your program. 

Ben did a wonderful job, there was never a lull in the day.  He coordinated easily with his co-residents to ensure that I always had someone to follow while keeping the flow going between the surgery center and clinic. 

I was so impressed by the graciousness of everyone I met. The residents and faculty alike were enthusiastic to tell me about their experiences in the program and to ask me about myself. I felt so welcome and could tell that this sort of warm, collaborative and open learning environment wasn't just for show. 

It is obvious the standards are set high. The volume and breadth of unique and challenging experiences I heard about in my short visit were very impressive. Residents not only had extensive clinical experiences including endodontics and trauma management, but also a wide variety of medical management with sickle cell and clearance patients. This balance of clinical experience with more advanced medicine certainly requires hard work, but will produce such well qualified pediatric dentists, and all while keeping such a positive environment.

I look forward to completing my PASS application soon, and would be honored to be considered.
