I thought in view of our ER overload dilemmas, this opinion by the physician brother of Rahm Emmanuel (Chicago mayor) would be of interest. In the report, if you can download from the link, he says that there is no shortage of physicians and that 20-50% of appointments should be walk ins! Take it with a grain of salt as his bro isn't doing too well as mayor....
