Hi Everyone,

Please see email below about the EPIC tooth charting upgrade.
Terri – please nominate one representative from

1.       Dental  assistant

2.       Hygienists/Coronal polisher

3.       One from DSC (Circulator) – our faculty & private practitioners from DSC can do the same inform any glitches/suggestions to Denise.
To accumulate any issues and give it to Erica or Deb Winston
Dr Amini – can you please  nominate resident representative too.
–I will consolidate all suggestions/glitches review it and bring it up at CIS and the dental clinic morning huddle and then forward it to Epic personnel.

Thanks Dr Hoffman we are excited about this upgrade !!
It will be more efficient.

I am happy to inform you that the enhancement to your existing odontogram documentation tool is set to take effect sometime on Monday. After the update is applied, the tooth charting tool will contain the two hyperlinks shown below. The ‘Copy Previous’ hyperlink will exactly copy the most recent documented odontogram into the current encounter for you to update/edit as necessary. In addition, a new ‘Clear’ hyperlink is available to quickly remove any tooth chart documentation from the current encounter. This is useful when the documentation was done in error or merely to ‘start over’, at which point the copy previous hyperlink can be used again if desired. If you have any questions, please let me know.
