Happy post-Super-Bowl Monday! Please see the weekly announcements below.



1.       Armed Forces Medley Recordings



VPM Jacob Chestnut has put together several important points to keep in mind for your Armed Forces Medley recording, which is due by this Sunday, February 14, on Carmen.



*         "This recording is audio only! No video required, so hopefully that makes things a little easier to record.

*         You should use headphones to listen to the "Armed Forces Medley 2020 Rolling Score.mp4" track, which is in the Files section on Carmen, and then record your voice while singing your part.

*         Try to record in an environment that is free of excess noise to ensure a higher quality product.

*         The rolling score video doesn't have some of the markings that we've discussed previously, so I'd recommend you use your own score while you watch Dr. Ward conduct.

*         Be confident! I know making the recordings isn't like singing together, but don't be afraid to sing your voice!

*         Drink some water."

2.      MGC Birthday Form



When's your birthday? We want to know so that we can help celebrate when the special day arrives! The Finance Committee has created a form for you to enter your birthday. It takes about five seconds!

3.      Song Spotlight Form



We are continuing to accept submissions for those wish to feature a recording of a composition in Club. This can be any piece of music from any genre. If it is meaningful to you in some way, feel free to share why!

4.      Social Media Spotlights



The Communications Committee is still taking submissions from new members who wish to be featured on our social media platforms. You can find more details about what you can share about yourself in last Monday's email. Additionally, if you would like to be featured, text a headshot or photo of yourself to Nathan Hensley at (440) 315-8375.
