Content: Ohio Growers and Wine Producers- Please take literally, a minute to respond to this short survey to influence the direction of Research, Extension and Production
Good Morning,

If you recall, the Ohio Grape Industries Committee (OGIC), in partnership with The Ohio State University/OARDC research and extension specialists, conducted three regional meetings in December and January to determine the research, extension and production challenges facing Ohio's grape and wine industry. As a result of these stakeholder meetings, the following survey has been created. Now we are asking each of you to help determine the prioritization of these challenges for FY14-FY19 by clicking on the following link and filling out the short prioritization survey, no later than Friday, February 22, 2013. The initial results of this survey will be shared with attendees of the 2013 Ohio Grape & Wine Conference during the general session on Monday, February 18 and then with the Research Subcommittee to pull together an initial plan to address these challenges.

Please keep in mind, that although all of the areas listed are very important to the industry, with limited personnel and fiscal resources, the OGIC will unfortunately probably not be able to address all of these challenges within this five-year timeframe. Also, there are some challenges listed that due to OGIC's statutory authority, may not be able to be addressed by the OGIC, but if ranked high in priority will be passed along to entities who might be able to move these areas forward (i.e., regulation challenges).
