</div></div><br><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS
 EMAIL IF YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE A VOTING MEMBER (have attended or 
expressed an interest in attending a general body meeting/ have attended two OAS events).</span> I will confirm your status.<br><br>In the last general body meeting, we have amended the constitution (attached) to allow for <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">a service chair position</span> on OAS's executive board. If you are a voting member, then you can run/vote for this chair. The election process will be held in the following way: <br>
<br></div><ul><li>Interested qualified candidates will <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">submit a paragraph</span> explaining what makes them perfect for the position to me (Omar Gowayed) by <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">Monday, November 25</span>. </li>
<li>An email will be sent to the voting members with all of the qualified candidates on <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">Tuesday, November 26</span><br></li><li>To vote, respond to the email with your decision.</li>
<li>The votes will be tallied until<span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)"> Friday, November 29</span> and the winner will be announced <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">Saturday, November 30</span></li>
</ul><p>Currently, we have one candidate running thus far: <br></p><p>Tassiana Maloof<br><br>Looking to the future, I hope to have a career that is centered on service. I have had the opportunity to spend time tutoring and volunteering at a free clinic, various hospitals, and the Graham Expeditionary Middle School. Over winter break I will be traveling to Ecuador with MEDLIFE in order to provide an underprivileged community with medicine, education and community development. These opportunities have given me a clear understanding of the importance of giving back to our local and global communities. I would be able to provide our members with abundant service opportunities throughout the Columbus area as well as encourage them to involve themselves in diverse projects and cultures.</p>
