Hi Michelle,
   At Kent State we also award based on ACE credit recommendations, but it is added as elective credits and then the departments must review and make a determination whether it can count towards major/minor requirements etc (using a degree audit exception). We don't automatically allow unaccredited coursework to count in our Kent Core gened block.
