Hi Michelle,

We will accept them if they come on an actual ACE transcript, which is ordered through Credly.  We do not process the Sophia transcript itself, since it is not accredited.  I believe a student has the option when ordering a transcript to choose the Sophia one or the ACE one---we have not had any problems or issues with students being able to get the actual ACE transcript sent to us.

You probably noticed that many, but not all, of Sophia's courses have been evaluated by ACE.  In accordance with our normal transfer practices, we will consider for transfer any course taken at Sophia that has been evaluated by ACE at the ACE-recommended number of semester hours.  I think most of the courses are 3 credits.  We also allow many of these courses to satisfy requirements in our general education domains, but that is at the discretion of our gen ed program chair and considered on a course-by-course basis.
We limit the number of courses a student may transfer from non-regionally accredited sources and sophia hours contribute to that count.
