[OACRAO] How is your school planning for classes for FA-21

We will be primarily back to face to face.  We are planning on 75% capacities in classrooms, with a “6’ COVID distanced” row for students who may need or want the extra spacing.  If 70% of any given class (students and faculty) or meeting attendees voluntarily provide proof of vaccination (to a secured site we are working on) the vaccinated individuals do not have to wear masks in that class or meeting.  Note that non-vaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks.  I am working on the way to tie vaccinated status to class list so I can run data for the classes without students/faculty being solicited in the classroom.

Hi everyone.

Hope the summer semester is finding everyone returning to some normalcy.

I have been asked by my Deans to see how other are planning on returning to class in the fall?  Are you requiring your students to be vaccinated? Your faculty and Staff to be vaccinated?

If not requiring then are you going back to face to face instruction with no or some social distancing?  Or maintaining remote learning?

If going back face to face instruction how are you maintaining social distancing in the classrooms?  Are you going by the recommendations for secondary schools at 3 feet or maintaining a 6 feet social distancing?
