[OACRAO] Dismissing Students After Fall Semester

We do not dismiss students after the fall semester. Our policy is to evaluate student performance annually, each spring and determine any academic action that needs to be taken. If at the end of the fall semester, a student's Semester GPA is below a 2.0 (and/or CGPA) they would only receive an academic warning. Any probation or suspension is evaluated at the end of the spring only.


Students already on academic probation are able to have that official designation lifted after the end of a fall semester and return to good standing.

Denison's policy is similar to W&L. Students can be academically suspended at the end of each semester (fall, spring). We do not have summer school.
