[MES Forum] FW: Research Funding in Europe: Meet with EURAXESS Regional Representative - 9/30

[McClimans, Melinda]

MES Forum Members, please consider joining this workshop on research funding focused on European sources. RSVP below. Thank you!

Greetings from the Office of International Affairs,

We will be hosting another workshop on research funding, similar to the German Research and Funding Workshop we hosted last autumn. Derya Büyüktanır Karacan, the regional representative for EurAxess<https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/>, will be on campus to talk about Horizon Europe’s funding models, specific funding opportunities, and pathways for consortium-based collaborative research projects.

The session for faculty and university leadership will be held from 10:00 – noon on September 30 (Wednesday) in the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center, 130. Please RSVP here<https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dd9aOQzftAEZGSi> as soon as possible. Please feel welcome to share the opportunity and the RSVP link with any colleagues who might also be interested.

Additional Sessions:

• If you work with graduate students who might also benefit from research funding in Europe, encourage them to attend the session established for them specifically on Tuesday, September 29 from 3:00-5:00 in Enarson Classroom Building 160. Please pass along this link for them to RSVP for that session<https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6szfDovkjS9n0Z8> by September 25. (Please do not provide the link for the faculty/leadership session.)

• One-on-one or small group (2-3 people) meetings: Ms. Karacan will hold office hours on the afternoon of September 30 for those who could not attend their session and/or for those who want to ask more questions. The two RSVP links above provide the opportunity to request such a meeting.

We hope to see you and your colleagues there!
