A Note from the Director
Today is October 7, a full three years since the horrific attack and hostage crisis prompted a devastating Gaza war—again--with unrelenting suffering, displacement, and countless civilian deaths. Deep attachments to communities in the Middle East have brought pain, fear, and strife to our own campus community. Our engagement with far-away events is shifting to new and nearer issues. Let us today remember the lives, homes, and security lost, and let us retain our curiosity and compassion for people in the Middle East.
