We want to make sure you know about the upcoming visit of Dr. Sona Kazemi<https://english.osu.edu/events/disabling-relations-wounded-bodyminds-and-transnational-praxis>, author of Disabling Relations: Wounded Bodyminds and Transnational Praxis (Temple UP, 2025). It focuses on interviews and archival research with disabled dissidents in the aftermath of 1979 Iran; veterans and civilians during and after the Iran–Iraq War; survivors of state-sanctioned punitive limb amputation; and survivors of gender-based violence.
