[MES Forum] Connecting with Each Other

Dear MES Forum,

Thank you to those of you who reached out to share the pain you are feeling. My heart goes out to you and has also been heavy with what is happening to the people in our beloved region. I sometimes feel helpless and it seems that all I can do is pray.

Another important way to get through such challenges is to spend some time with people who care. I am starting to organize get togethers for those of you who are longing for connection and community in what is an extremely difficult time for many of us. And I will completely understand if that’s not for you.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly in the meantime. Let me know your thoughts and ideas about getting together, including any concerns you may wish to share.
