[MES Forum] Dates Next Semester

Faculty, Students and Staff Members of our Middle East Studies Forum, we hope finals week went well and you are getting ready to switch gears and recharge over the holidays.

Next semester we have 3 forums planned:

  *   January 14, 2026 – 8:30 AM: Semester Kickoff Breakfast
  *   February 19, 2026 – 4:00 PM: Kaya Şahin<https://history.osu.edu/people/sahin.52> will share his research
  *   March 9, 2026 – 2:30 PM: Alumni Voices
The MCRME<https://u.osu.edu/mcrme/> project with the Melton Center for Jewish Studies and the Center for Ethics and Human Values will host Dialogue #3 on January 27th<https://mesc.osu.edu/events/talking-about-middle-east-dialogue-3> from 11 to 12:30.

The History Department will host “Comparative Perspectives on Slavery, Bondage, and Resistance in Asia<https://history.osu.edu/events/chr-panel-feb-23>” on February 23rd at 3:30.

The next Arabic Calligraphy workshop will be announced soon.
