[MES Forum] Student Leadership for March Kindness ‘24

Dear MES Forum,
Did you know that New American kids and teens receive mentoring<https://alumnimagazine.osu.edu/story/community-connectors-ohio-state> from Ohio State University students? The OSU student organization, CRIS CC<https://docs.google.com/file/d/1xGEcN7VapZvo0ceXEg0DWurc5weXcBIG/edit?filetype=mspresentation> exists to support the New American Youth mentorship program, CRIS Community Connectors<https://www.criscommunityconnectors.org/>. Leaders of the student organization have created a campaign<https://gofund.me/0b947b18> to directly support young people in Columbus and make them feel welcome as new Americans in Columbus. We at the Middle East Studies Center are proud to support this student-led effort.
Rahma Anjum<https://mesc.osu.edu/people/anjum.10> is one of the students organizing this effort and our own Lead Intern.  We applaud her leadership!
