As an existing Foundation friend and collaborator, I am hoping you will help share these opportunities among your professional and social networks. Given the focused nature of the Foundation’s grants, we’ve found personal networks to be the most effective means for connecting with competitive grant applicants and potential visiting scholars.

 

Ideal Applicants: The Al Qasimi Foundation grants are ideal for individuals with existing research interests in the GCC and Middle East region related to education, arts and culture, urban planning and community development, or public health. The Foundation would also consider submissions related to philanthropy in the region. While Ras Al Khaimah/United Arab Emirates (UAE) must be a significant site for data collection and analysis, comparative studies are welcome and encouraged. Scholars associated with an accredited higher education institution anywhere in the world are eligible to apply, and awards cover expenses associated with conducting field research in the UAE.​



More Information: I’ve attached a general flyer with some basic information that can be printed/posted or shared as appropriate. Posts about the competitive research grants are also continuously posted on the Foundation’s social media pages so please follow us at the listed channels below and repost, tag, and send the graphics directly to those you think might be interested in applying.
