BFA and BCAS want you to join and make a difference
Buckeyes; Are you ready to make a difference this semester? There are two new organizations on campus seeking new members.
Buckeye Food Alliance (BFA): The Marion Campus is establishing a chapter of this Columbus campus student organization. BFA exists to address wellness and food insecurity. Volunteer to assist with the Fresh Express Produce Market and establishing a food pantry on our campus.
Buckeye Campaign Against Suicide (BCAS): A person at risk for suicide needs the support of their friends and family. The more we know, the better we are equipped to help. We work to spread awareness of suicide prevention steps such as the recognition of warning signs so that fewer people come to know the tragedy of suicide. Most importantly, we stress that above all else, each and every one of us has the potential to save a life by asking those around us, "Are you ok?" This may be the ultimate way to make a difference!
Please contact Leslie Beary at beary.4 at osu.edu for more additional information.
