The State of Mercy in Ohio & at Ohio State
Bryan Stevenson's book Just Mercy raised a variety of questions about life in prison, capital punishment and life after prison. What do these issues look like in Ohio? What opportunities do students have to deepen their understanding of the criminal justice system while at Ohio State? Explore these questions with professors teaching courses in local prisons that are open to Ohio State students and graduates of those courses, including restored citizens.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the First Year Success Series: Buckeye Book Community on Thurs., Nov. 9, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in Townshend Hall, Room 255.
