The water boil alert has been lifted, it is now safe to use the water.  The maintenance staff is currently working on emptying ice makers and removing the alert signs.

Aqua Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Customers in Marion Service Area

The boil water advisory issued by Aqua Ohio (Aqua) for its customers in the Marion service area has been lifted. The water system serves the City of Marion and the Villages of Caledonia, Martel and Prospect. Samples tested over the last 24 hours have confirmed that the water in the system meets all regulatory drinking water standards and remains safe to drink and use for cooking, cleaning and other purposes.
