Giving Tree Project
Is Underway!

The Ohio State University at Marion's Social Work Club, with the assistance of other service minded campus organizations, has kicked off this year's Giving Tree Project!  Christmas trees, adorned with gift tags can be found in the SW lobby of Morrill Hall, the main entrance of the library and just outside of room 124 in Maynard Hall.  Decoratively wrapped boxes, in which you can place your donated gift, are located near the trees.

This year the Giving Tree Project will assist families residing at Turning Point.  Turning Point is a domestic violence shelter located in Marion County that provides services for residents in six surrounding counties.  Additionally, you will see tags on the trees requesting soap, shampoo, laundry and dish detergent, etc.  These items will be donated to the Heart of Ohio Homeless Shelter.

If possible, we ask that you please wrap the gifts that are being donated for a specific person (as indicated on the gift tag), attach the gift tag to the present and place the item(s) in the donation box.  Toiletry items/cleaning products do not require  wrapping.

Please have all of your donations to campus by Wednesday December 9th, to allow time for the clubs/organizations to organize and coordinate a delivery to the agencies on Monday December 14th.
